Welcome
This has been a long time in the making, and it’s not finished quite yet, but I wanted to welcome the students of room 314 and their parents to our classroom’s website.

What’s this all about?
On this site, students as well as their parents can glance at the concepts for current units taught in the classroom. As you can see to the left, there is a list of the subjects covered; clicking on the link takes you to that subject and you can see a list of objectives.

There is also a Homework page, with my thoughts about assigning homework and practice, where you will find the current week’s homework assignments. On the Parents' Page, you will find classroom notices just for parents regarding field trips and special announcements.

I’m particularly pleased with the Links page where there are award-winning sites just for middle school-aged students. I’ve found that the frustration level experienced by last year’s students when they “Google” a topic warranted putting together this list of sites, and I’m very excited about how simply they operate and how extremely “kid friendly” they are.

Lastly, there is a Contact Info page where you will see my current contact information. I will strongly suggest using e-mail, as it’s my preferred mode of communication. However, if you do not have an e-mail address please don’t hesitate to call. I will try to get back to you within 24 hours of receiving your message from the main office.
